   Hi Jack,
   I wanted to run through your code to try to figure out some kinks I’m getting when trying to run the neg. binomial with my own datat.
   I copied and pasted your script exactly, and get the same error message when running the first try at the model “Error in scan(text = rr[numLines], quiet = TRUE) : scan() expected ‘a real’, got ‘obs'”

   Any ideas on how to resolve this?
